As part of our work on the Patient and Public Engagement Steering Group for the transition of specialised services during the NHS reorganisation, we would like to make sure the appropriate patient groups have the opportunity to be engaged with the appropriate specialised services providers.
Could you please tell us which of the specialised services from the list below your members regularly use, and whether your group would wish to engage with the providers of the service to ensure patients have a say in the development and delivery of the service.
Specialised services are health services - interventions, clinics, diagnostics, and surgeries - which are for less common conditions, and which are organised and delivered regionally.
This request is for the group of specialised services known as the Specialised Services National Definitions Set. More about this group of services can be found here: www.specialisedservices.nhs.uk/info/specialised-services-national-definitions.
